My Psalm

At a workshop on worship I attended today we had to write our own Psalm.

Lord, You lead me through good times and hard.

You are always there to comfort me and to teach me to comfort.

You are the strength of my body, the peace of my mind, the hope of my heart, and the joy of my soul.

Oh Father, You are all.

I need You desperately and yet I come in the way and cause myself to stumble.

You pick me up again every time I fall.

On You I can build my life for You are trustworthy.

The teacher of the workshop said that worship is different than praise. Worship is recognizing where we are in relation to God. He is awesome and we are lowly. Writing a psalm myself helped me to see the difference. Try it!
